Among flat slings, the sling for heavy loads stands out for fulfilling the function of securing heavy loads and, as a result, is widely sought after by carriers, civil construction companies, industrial businesses, and resellers.

The sling for heavy loads can be manufactured using two extremely advantageous materials: polyester or aramid. The sling for heavy loads made from polyester is more suitable for use in situations where it will be exposed to the elements. The aramid sling, on the other hand, is recommended for extreme requirements in environments where the equipment will come into contact with chemical products.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SLING FOR HEAVY LOADS

The sling for heavy loads made from aramid can operate in environments with temperatures between -40°C and 400°C, features low thermal shrinkage, and is a non-flammable sling — flames self-extinguish when they come into contact with this sling. It is available in models that generally support 2.5 to 4.2 tonnes in vertical configuration. This product is ideal for load-handling needs in aggressive environments.

The sling for heavy loads made from 100% polyester is a high-tenacity sling with characteristics of resistance to abrasion and weathering such as high humidity, ultraviolet rays, and mould. One of the greatest advantages of the sling for heavy loads is that it can be washed using neutral solutions — which does not harm the sling composition or accelerate the ageing of the raw material used.

Both sling for heavy loads variants must be manufactured in accordance with ABNT technical standards and can be found in various lengths and widths, with eyes at their ends.
